Before joining Chief Bank, Dr. Lim Aun held several key leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of SME Bank of Cambodia Plc. and Chief Executive Officer of Sathapana Bank, one of Cambodia’s largest and successful commercial banks. Earlier in his career, he served as Deputy General Manager at Vattanac Bank and Senior Auditor at KPMG, where he also completed an international secondment at KPMG Malaysia.

Dr. Lim Aun holds a Doctorate in Management from the European International University (Paris) and is recognized for his leadership in driving institutional transformation through effective governance, innovation, and people development. Mr. Him Vibol is a seasoned banking executive with more than 22 years of experience in auditing, accounting, finance, and treasury, including nearly 15 years of leadership at the Chief Finance Officer level in the banking sector.

He currently serves as Chief Finance Officer of Chief Bank Plc, where he leads the bank’s financial management framework, including accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, and administration.

Before joining Chief Bank, Vibol served as Executive Vice President and Chief Finance Officer of Hattha Bank., where he chaired the Asset–Liability Committee and was a member of the Executive Committee and Risk Management Committee. During his tenure, he led financial strategy, treasury management, funding arrangements, and regulatory compliance, while strengthening financial reporting systems, budgeting processes, and financial performance monitoring frameworks.

Earlier in his career, he held senior finance roles at KREDIT Microfinance Institution, including Chief Finance Officer, Finance Manager and Finance Officer. He began his professional career as an Internal Auditor, building strong expertise in internal control, audit processes, and financial governance.

Prior to joining Chief Bank, Ms. Sokun held several senior positions within Cambodia’s financial industry. Following the institution’s transition to Hattha Bank, she was promoted to Chief Risk Officer, where she played a key role in strengthening the bank’s risk governance framework. She subsequently joined Asian Business Group as Chief Risk Officer at the executive level. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Sokun contributes to the development of future finance professionals as a lecturer in Risk Management at the Cambodia University of Technology and Science.

Over his career, he has occupied senior leadership roles spanning operations, internal audit, finance, risk management, and IT governance, demonstrating a proven track record of enhancing internal controls, increasing operational efficiency, and facilitating business transformation.

Beyond his executive responsibilities, Mr. Chandara serves as a lecturer for bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. He began his career at Vattanac Bank, spending over eight years in roles including Branch Manager and credit leadership, building strong expertise in retail and corporate banking while driving branch performance.

In addition to his professional achievements, he has actively participated in various local and international training and development programs, including programs in Indonesia, the Philippines, Italy, and Thailand, focusing on banking leadership, financial inclusion, agricultural finance, and real estate valuation.
